Corporate Grade Hosted Telephony

Corporate Grade Hosted Telephony

“The features and benefits of hosted telephony with the quality guarantees of an onsite telephone system”

There are many cheap hosted voip providers on the market these days, which can be great for home users and one-person businesses, however to guarantee reliability and quality for your business you need to do things a little differently.

Liquid only use corporate grade hosted telephone systems and business connectivity to provide our service and this is the real value of Liquid Hosted Voice – you get a system with the quality that previously only the largest corporations could afford for a monthly per user price.

Whether it is the Broadsoft core infrastructure, the Cisco handsets or the Red Box call recording device, you are certain to have an end-to-end solution that simply doesn’t have the potential for extended periods of downtime that you can suffer with cheaper providers.

Corporate Graded Hosted Telephony Features

  • Free Upgrades for life
  • Low capital outlay
  • Free Local & National Calls
  • Homeworking enabled
  • Corporate-Grade Cisco handset
  • Fully private network guaranteeing quality
  • Plug and Play functionality
  • WebPortal functionality

End to End connectivity is provided in every Liquid Hosted Voice solution, this means you are not using the open internet to carry your calls and having your important voice traffic mixed with people looking at Youtube or Facebooking their friends causing degradation of voice quality. Instead you have a line or a portion of a line utilised solely for telephone calls, much like you would with an old onsite telephone switch. This means we can offer the highest quality guarantees, including promises on latency and jitter than you will experience when making that all important call.

Cisco Handsets

Liquid recommend Cisco™ handsets for our hosted telephone solution. Cisco are the market leaders when it comes to system agnostic handsets and have deployed over 35 million handsets worldwide.

Whether you want the basic one-line functionality of a Cisco 7912 handset or a fully feature-rich colour touch screen handset like the Cisco 7975, all are compatible with the Liquid Hosted Voice system.

We recognise that handsets are the largest upfront cost when buying a hosted telephony solution and that’s why we can offer 0% finance for three years on all Cisco products, reducing your setup costs for a brand new state of the art system to virtually nothing.

Finally, as Cisco handsets can be used on multiple systems, you are not being tricked into buying handsets that can only be used on one telephone systems made by the same manufacturer; you are buying a business asset that can be used for many years to come.

Hosted PBX Systems

PBX (Public Branch eXchange) is a telephone switchboard hardware that passes calls from the main telephone network to individual company extension numbers. Traditionally the PBX had to housed on-site in order to manage calls within the organisation, and was usually hidden away in an IT cupboard. However with the improvements in Voice over IP (VoIP) technology the PBX can now be hosted by a service provider. Hosted PBX is simply a virtual telephone system, which is controlled by a system hosting company offsite. The organisation then connects to the system through a network connection.

The PBX does more than simply routing calls to the correct extension number; it can also provide call queuing, transfer to another extension if the phone isn’t answered, voicemail and fax.

The main advantage of hosted over traditional PBX is the reduction in cost. In the first instance there will be no expenditure on the PBX system itself, although the company will have to purchase compatible handsets the cost will be minimal in comparison. Another cost effective advantage of hosted PBX is that the system will upgrade automatically, without the need to purchase in install new software. The service provider will upgrade software and hardware on a regular basis meaning you will always have the latest features; this is essential to smaller companies who, even if they can afford the initial PBX, are unlikely to be able to afford regular upgrades. Not only this, but hosted PBX also allows for cheaper calls. The call is able to stay in the digital network longer and therefore reduce the dependence on the analogue network; the provider will also be able to pass on bulk traffic discounts, reducing your call costs.
